1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected through this website is Nicola Tesone, Via Gramsci 1, 81030 Parete (CE), Italy. For any request concerning your data you can write to info@pizzapdf.com.

2. The documents you load are not processed

PizzaPDF has no server that receives files. All conversion, merging, splitting and editing operations take place locally in the user's browser, through code running on the device. The documents you load are not transmitted, not stored and not accessible to the controller or to third parties. Closing the tab removes every trace of the processing from the browser's memory.

Consequently, the controller carries out no processing of personal data on the content of the documents.

At the end of each operation the browser sends the website only the number of files processed (for example "3"), which feeds the public counter shown on the home page. The content, name, type or size of the files is never sent, and the number is not associated with the user.

3. Data collected automatically

Like any website, the hosting infrastructure records technical connection data, including IP address, browser type and operating system, pages requested and the date and time of the request. This data is processed to ensure the operation and security of the service, on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for those purposes.

4. Cookies and advertising

The website does not use its own cookies to profile users and does not require registration.

The website hosts advertising spaces managed by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads based on the user's visits to this and other websites, to limit how often ads are shown and to measure their effectiveness. These providers have no access whatsoever to the documents processed on the website.

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, consent is collected through a certified consent management platform shown on the first visit. You can change your choices at any time through the consent management link in the footer.

You can also turn off Google ad personalisation from the Google My Ad Center page, or manage third-party cookies from your browser settings. Turning it off does not stop ads from being shown; they will simply be less relevant.

5. Disclosure of data

Technical connection data may be processed by hosting and content delivery network providers, acting as data processors. Data collected through advertising cookies is processed by Google as an independent controller or joint controller, as provided for by the AdSense programme policies. The data is not disseminated.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers, including Google, may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place on the basis of adequacy decisions of the European Commission or of standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

At any time you have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests should be sent to info@pizzapdf.com and are answered within thirty days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

8. Minors

The service is not aimed at children under fourteen and does not knowingly collect data relating to them.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page shows the latest revision. Substantial changes will be announced on the website.
